Steven C. Toschi is a founding member and managing partner of Toschi, Collins Doyle & Houvener APC. Mr. Toschi has tried more than 80 civil jury trials to verdict and has spent more than a year in his life in the courtroom, in trial concerning cases with very complex medical issues. Insurance companies’ Special Investigative Units seek Mr. Toschi’s counsel to assist them to effectively identify, prevent, and resist multiple questionable claims submissions. He has expertise in anti-fraud litigation and also defends first and third party injury claims throughout the courtrooms of Northern California. Mr. Toschi also handles complex injury litigation, wrongful death claims and serious injury claims. He is a member of the California Bar, the Oregon Bar, the Alameda County Bar Association, the Anti-Fraud Alliance, the Eastern Alameda Bar Association, and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada. Wayne Collins is a founding member of Toschi, Collins & Doyle. He is a 1968 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and a 1973 graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in California in 1973. Mr. Collins has handled cases in State and Federal Court through all phases of trial and the appeals process; specializing in personal injury, products liability, auto, homeowners, construction, admiralty, false arrest, slander and premises liability claims, extensive trial and arbitration experience. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.

Greg Doyle is a founding member of Toschi, Collins & Doyle, A 1974 graduate, University of California, Berkeley, and a 1979 Graduate, University of San Francisco School of Law; Mr. Doyle was admitted to the California State bar in 1980. Mr. Doyle specializes in personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction defect litigation, environmental and earth movement/landslide cases, bodily injury claims and real estate law; with extensive trial and arbitration experience. Mr. Doyle is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California.

Mr. Houvener is a 2010 graduate of the University of Washington and a 2013 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. Mr. Houvener specializes in civil litigation, including auto liability, personal injury and bankruptcy law and is licensed to practice in California. Mr. Houvener has been selected as a Northern California Rising Star in the field of defense litigation for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. He is an active member of the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel, the Anti-Fraud Alliance, and the Alameda County Bar Association’s Trial Practice Section.

Mr. Wellen has been practicing law for over fifteen years and specializes in defense of civil claims with a focus on personal injury, premises liability and general civil liability matters. He has extensive experience handling special investigative unit cases and has also worked on employment law matters and public entity defense, including the defense of numerous school districts and public transportation entities. He has successfully taken cases to trial in personal injury and conversion matters. Mr. Wellen earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, where he was on Law Review. Mr. Wellen is admitted to the State Bar of California and practices in our Los Angeles office.

Ms. Delkhah is a 2000 Graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law., and has been practicing law in California for almost twenty years. She concentrates her work on complex injury claims, special investigative unit (SIU) claims, and first-party uninsured motorist claims for her clients in Southern California. She was named a Southern California Super Lawyer – Rising Star in 2007, 2009, and 2010, and was added as a member of Cambridge Who’s Who. Ms. Delkhah is fluent in Farsi.

Meredith earned her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and her Bachelor’s Degree from Claremount McKenna.  Ms. Doyle is an experienced Insurance Defense attorney with years of experience drafting and arguing motions, taking depositions, preparing written discovery, and preparing for meditations, arbitrations, and trial.  Ms Doyle has expertise in insurance defense, personal injury and habitability.

Zavosh earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Charlotte School of Law – Charlotte, North Carolina and his Bachelor’s Degree from University of California Santa Barbara.  Mr. Rashidi has experience taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and oppositions, attending mediations, hearings and EUO’s. Mr. Rashidi excels in legal research and is fluent in Farsi.

Nia earned her Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law and her bachelors degree from Chapman University. As a licensed attorney in California, Nia’s practice focuses on defense of personal injury claims, product liability, and premises liability. Prior to working for the firm, Nia specialized in consumer- protection and employment law. She has successfully taken to trial consumer protection matters. While in law school, Nia participated on the school’s mock trial team and competed in the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice National Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition, where she won the First Place George Porter Best Advocate Award.

Vazgen earned his Juris Doctor from Southwetern School of Law and his bachelors degree from Cal State Northgate.  As a licensed attorney in California, Vazgen focuses on the defense of personal injury claims. He has an extensive background in research and writing motions.  He has also chaired two jury trials and multiple bench trials.   Mr. Pogosyan has prior experience in employment law, landlord tenant law, and general civil litigation.  Vazgen is fluent in Armenian and conversational in French.

Ilia earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School and his Bachelor’s degree from University of California at Irvine. Mr. Serpik has experience in all areas of civil litigation, and probate law. He has years of background in general liability litigation and insurance defense, including taking and defending depositions, appearing at mediations and arbitrations, and drafting motions. Ilia is a member of the California State Bar and is fluent in Russian.
